Doxem® IG is attractive to and effective against both mole cricket nymphs and adults and can be used any time in their lifecycle for management. Once applied, dead mole crickets may be observed within 24 hours.

Mole crickets are the most destructive insect pest in warm season turfgrass throughout the southeast US. They spend most of their lifecycle near the soil surface, damaging turf by consuming plant tissue and creating extensive tunneling, causing the soil to dry, resulting in root loss. Damage is most considerable when mole crickets are in the older instar and adult stages. Most mole cricket control only targets small nymphs in early summer because adults and large nymphs are more difficult to control.
