The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) extended its multi-year partnership with John Deere as the official golf course equipment supplier of the LPGA Tour.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with John Deere, reinforcing our shared commitment to advancing women in golf and delivering top-notch playing experiences worldwide for our athletes,” said Nicole Metzger, chief sales and partnerships officer for the LPGA.

John Deere has also signed on as the official golf course equipment supplier of the 2024 Solheim Cup, which will take place at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va.

“As John Deere remains the official golf course equipment supplier of the LPGA Tour and further enhances their support as the official sponsor and equipment supplier for the 2024 Solheim Cup, we are excited to collaborate closely with them even more,” Metzger adds.

The LPGA and John Deere will work with agronomists on the course’s playing conditions and use John Deere golf course management equipment and technology solutions. John Deere has previously supported the 2019 and 2021 Solheim Cups with golf course management, which were contested at Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course and Inverness Club, respectively.

“We are honored to continue our relationship and look forward to supporting the upcoming 2024 Solheim Cup, underscoring our commitment to providing an exceptional playing experience at the top courses around the world while continuing to empower women in the game of golf,” said Manny Gan, global director of golf at John Deere.

The 2024 Solheim Cup will take place in Sept. 10-15 and will serve as the first major women’s competition held at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.
