E-Z-GO recently awarded its golf sales and service team for outstanding performance during the company’s annual National Sales Meeting.

Salesman of the Year was awarded to Frank Savakis, a senior fleet sales representative in the Connecticut and western Massachusetts territory. Savakis was a top performer across multiple areas in the business, according to E-Z-GO. Savakis has more than 27 years of industry experience and has been with E-Z-GO for 15 years.

E-Z-GO presented Service Manager of the Year to Andy Bonizzi for his exceptional dedication to his customers and his team, according to a news release. Bonizzi leads the southern New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and western Massachusetts service organization. Bonizzi joined E-Z-GO more than 30 years ago and brings an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and experience to the industry.

Adam Harris was awarded Regional Director of the Year for his outstanding leadership and management skills. Harris, who is the regional sales director of the Central U.S. region, manages a team of eight sales representatives and began his career with E-Z-GO in 2012. The company says that Harris understands the challenges and opportunities within the industry and has an extensive background in sales and marketing.

Rookie of the Year was awarded to Michael Lehman for being in the top echelon of the sales performance and for his passion to continually learn from his peers and the customer. Lehman began his career at E-Z-GO as a graduate of the Textron Sales Development Program before transitioning to a fleet representative role in North Carolina. Lehman was recently promoted to the position of regional sales director for the Southeast region.

Michael Steinmeyer was awarded Pre-Owned Sales Manager of the Year for his exceptional customer-focused and results-driven performance, E-Z-GO says. Steinmeyer joined E-Z-GO more than eight years ago and represented the Eastern region in his role as pre-owned sales manager, but was recently promoted to channel development manager for E-Z-GO and Bad Boy.

“Recognizing the contributions of our Sales and Service networks is one of my favorite responsibilities,” says Michael Parkhurst, vice president, golf, for E-Z-GO. “I am exceptionally proud of the contributions each of these individuals has made to not only E-Z-GO’s business objectives, but sharing our philosophy of placing the customer first.”

Award recipients were measured on select criteria identified by the leadership team.
