TurfFuel: Root Down

The challenges associated with high pH soils and irrigation water are plaguing more and more golf courses across North America.  Nutrient availability, mineral layering, sodium stress and black layer have become common challenges. Root Down was developed to provide a safe solution to those issues.  Root Down is a nitrogen source with a pH of 0.65.  It can be used in regular foliar applications, or monthly soil drenches.  The acidity of Root Down is protected by a unique lattice polymer that makes it non corrosive and non phytotoxic.  Once the product comes into contact with soil moisture, the lattice releases acidity into the soil. Root Down is fortified with a surfactant, iron, magnesium and manganese.
