Turf Connections added Mark Vogler to its team as a new sales representative. Vogler brings nearly 20 years of experience as a golf course superintendent and project manager to the position.

“Mark Vogler was recommended by a golf course superintendent who is a customer of ours,” said Marc Marsh, owner of Turf Connections. “We believe that Mark’s experience will help us grow our golf and sports turf and landscape market in specific regions. Marks’ references were very complimentary on his talent, and he is highly thought of among industry peers.”

Vogler’s career in the turf industry began in 1998 as an intern at Kissing Camels Golf Course in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has served as assistant superintendent and head superintendent at prestigious courses including Colleton River Plantation Club, Ansley Golf Club and most recently at Sea Pines Golf Course in Hilton Head.

Vogler is a current member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, as well as of the South Carolina Golf Course Superintendents Association. He holds a South Carolina Dept. of Agriculture Pesticides Applications License and is a Certified Irrigation Auditor. Vogler holds an Associates degree in Turf Management from Central Community College of Hastings, Nebraska, and is currently working on a degree in Turf Management from Colorado State University.
