Tiger’s Eye Golf Links, located in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., reopened following a renovation project that included replacing all of its greens.

“We’re thrilled that this revitalization is complete, and that our members and guests can resume playing top-level golf,” said Mark Saunders of Ocean Ridge Plantation Golf.

The course’s putting surfaces were upgraded with new TifEagle Bermudagrass, the same grass type used for the recent renovation to the TPC Sawgrass course, home of the PGA Tour’s The Players Championship tournament.

“With this upgrade, our course will continue to be one of the best places in the country to play golf,” Saunders said. “We’re committed to consistently maintaining and improving our golf courses, which contribute to the luxurious country club lifestyle residents enjoy in our coastal communities.”

Tiger’s Eye Golf Links is a daily fee course that includes dramatic elevation changes, marshlands and waterfalls. Playing to a par 72, this championship course has been recognized by several national golf publications as an annual award winner, including GOLF Magazine’s “Top Courses You Can Play” in the state.

Ocean Ridge Plantation is located 20 minutes north of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and is home to the four legendary Big Cats courses: Leopard’s Chase, Tiger’s Eye, Panther’s Run and Lion’s Paw.
