Syngenta rolls out new snow mold pallet offer

Syngenta released a new program designed to protect your course from pink and gray snow mold.

The T2G Winter Solution Offer, available through Dec. 7, is designed to help crews prepare their courses and safeguard greens, tees and fairways for spring opening. T2G Winter Solution pallet — which includes five cases of Contend A+B Snow Pack fungicide and two cases of Instrata fungicide (2 x 2.5 gallon) — protects your course from pink and gray snow mold for 120-plus days.

Instrata fungicide is assured for 120+ days of pink and gray snow mold control on greens and fairways, and Contend fungicide provides 120+ days of snow mold protection to fairways, the company said.

Additionally, eligible participants purchasing one pallet of T2G Winter Solution during the Program Period will receive a North Face Beanie.

Syngenta also shared a few agronomic best practices for supers to keep in mind:

• Give your snow mold application an advantage by utilizing a fall clean-up application to control cool-season disease;
• Give your turfgrass the best chance for recovery with properly timed clean-up and snow mold applications;
• Apply snow mold applications prior to snowfall;
• Apply in a minimum carrier volume of 50 gallons of water per acre on fairways and tees, and 90 gallons of water per acre for putting greens; and
• For enhanced turf quality and improved color as the snow melts, tank mix a pigment in the above recommendations.
