Quali-Pro’s Suprado earns 2(ee) exemption for bermudagrass mite control

Suprado, an insecticide from Quali-Pro, is now 2(ee) recommended for the control of bermudagrass mites.

Bermudagrass mite adults range from 0.006 to 0.008 inches, are cigar-shaped and are translucent. The pests only take about two weeks to develop from an egg to an adult, and the females lay about 50 eggs. The combination of their tiny size, quick life cycle and high reproductive rate makes diagnosing and controlling bermudagrass mites challenging. Control options in the market are currently limited, according to Quali-Pro.
