Quali-Pro’s NIMITZ Pro G nematicide
and Fahrenheit granule herbicide
are big hits with supers attending GIS

Quali-Pro has had its nematicide, NIMITZ Pro G, available in the U.S. for a year, and it’s an even bigger hit with supers at this GIS than it was last year, according to company officials. Powered by Fluensulfone, NIMITZ Pro G is a novel nematicide developed globally by ADAMA and Control Solutions for the Quali-Pro brand. Its 2016 launch marked the first new chemical nematicide to be developed in more than 20 years.

University and independent turfgrass researchers have extensively studied NIMITZ Pro G since 2008. Following a NIMITZ Pro G application, turf begins to recover by developing robust root systems, increased turf color, better turf quality, enhanced leaf density and overall improved health.

Quali-Pro’s recently launched Fahrenheit water soluble granule herbicide also is winning over supers. Featuring a dynamic duo of active ingredients — Metsulfuron-Methyl and Dicamba — Fahrenheit controls broadleaf and grassy weeds. Fahrenheit can be applied in spring, summer and fall with temperatures above 50 degrees.
