Quali-Pro launches Suprado Insecticide

Suprado logoQuali-Pro introduced its EPA-registered Suprado Insecticide.

The new insecticide is powered by an entirely new class of chemistry, with a unique mode of action proven to control annual bluegrass weevil (ABW).

Powered by novaluron, an insect growth regulator, Suprado controls ABW in as little as one application, reducing the need for ongoing applications of multiple chemistries.

According to Dr. Ben McGraw, Ph.D. at Penn State University, “This new product is about the most exciting thing I have seen in my career.”

Suprado has demonstrated excellent control in all larvae stages, in and out of the plant, with just one application. When Suprado is applied to adults, it affects their ability to lay eggs. Although Suprado has demonstrated such great results in controlling ABW, it is rated a low toxicity product.
