Poipu Bay Golf Course

Poipu Bay Golf Course is situated on 210 oceanfront acres adjacent to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa.

A Robert Trent Jones Jr. design, the course underwent a renovation in 2011 and unveiled the eco-friendly Seashore Paspalum turf on all greens. Poipu Bay is an ocean links style course featuring spectacular vistas, varying trade winds, 85 bunkers and five water hazards.

Set between lush mountains and rugged ocean bluffs, the course incorporates more than 30 acres of colorfully landscaped tropical plants and flowers, making it one of Hawaii’s most beautiful courses.

The closing stretch of holes, which run parallel to the Pacific Ocean atop 150-foot cliffs, are some of the best seaside golf holes in the world.

Hawaii’s endangered native nene geese are frequent visitors on Poipu Bay’s hallowed grounds and in the winter months humpback whales routinely spout offshore.
