Planet Turf adds turfgrass sales specialist

Planet Turf, a company specializing in professional turfgrass maintenance products and consulting services, has named Kelly Bowen its turfgrass sales specialist for the Pacific Northwest.

“Kelly is a dedicated professional with experience in landscaping, golf maintenance and sales,” says Jim Connolly, president of Planet Turf. “His knowledge and personal integrity as well as his desire to serve others will be a great value to Planet Turf.”

He will be responsible for sales and technical support to over 75 customers from the landscape, grounds maintenance and golf industry, and will be located in the Spokane, Wash., area serving customers in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon.

Kelly has been a superintendent for the past 18 years in Sunnyside, Wash., and is the former president of the Inland Empire GCSA. He has held positions in the landscape and horticulture field and was a horticulturist for ChemLawn Services Corp. He attended Oregon State University and has a theology degree from Christ for the Nations in Dallas. He is involved in numerous community activities including active participation as an EMT with the Yakima County Fire District No. 5.
