Nordic Plow upgrades Core Solutions technology

After receiving feedback from superintendents around the U.S. and Europe, Nordic Plow made upgrades to its Core Solutions for the Toro ProCore and Deere Aercore.

Improvements include:

• Wider scraper blade with bull-nosed rounded front edge;
• Metal trays with adjustable welded hinges used to secure scraper blade to plow;
• Metal reinforcement of side arms;
• Separate metal Brush assembly; and
• An adjustable scraper can now be tightened or allowed to free float across the green.

Through the development process, Nordic discovered that aerating with the grain of the green or side to side reduces stress to the turf and results in a flawless scrape, according to a press release.

Nordic recommends topdressing the greens first, then use the Core Solutions with Brushes attached. Additionally, the company recommends users aerate the green’s collar first while in the travel mode,  then utilize our unit across the green.

The MSRP of the unit, which includes brushes, is now $1,299 for the Procore 648, while other unit prices have been adjusted.
