Nominations for Amguard’s American Innovators program, which launched at the 2022 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show, will close on June 30. Amguard said the program recognizes the ingenuity, hard work and creativity of golf course management professionals everywhere.

Nominees can include golf course superintendents and assistant superintendents, equipment managers, irrigation technicians, distributor sales representatives and more.

According to Amguard, the award will go to “those who drive their industry forward with ingenuity — whether by creating a new technology, navigating a business challenge or standing at the frontline of the communities, courses and homes they serve.”

Nominators can explain in 300 words or less and include up to two photos of how their nominee demonstrates innovation in professional turfgrass management.

Winners of the American Innovator program will receive a wooden Legacy Series American “Flag of Valor,”  handcrafted by American veterans.

A selection committee composed of industry leaders, influencers and peers will review nominations and select winners later in the year. Nominees will receive recognition at the 2023 GCSAA Annual Conference and Trade Show in Orlando.
