Landscapes Golf Management (LGM), a division of Landscapes Unlimited, has been selected to manage Manhattan Country Club in Manhattan, Kan., and provide Landscapes Select services for Midvale Country Club located in Rochester, N.Y.

Under the agreement with Manhattan Country Club, LGM will oversee golf and club operations, food and beverage, agronomy and membership and club marketing. LGM has been providing Landscapes Select services to Manhattan Country Club since 2011. As for Midvale Country Club, LGM will be providing accounting services through its Landscapes Select platform. Midvale Country Club was referred to Landscapes from a board member at another LGM property.

Founded in 1916, Manhattan Country Club began as a 9-hole course and country club. In 1923, the Club added nine additional holes, making it one of the only 18-hole courses in the state of Kansas at the time. Manhattan Country Club has endured two devastating fires throughout its long history, showing the resilience of its members. Today, Manhattan CC offers 18 holes of golf, a full-service clubhouse and aquatic and fitness facilities. The Club has a long-standing tradition in Kansas golf, hosting State Men’s and Women’s Amateurs, as well as the Kansas high school championships.

“We are very excited to expand our scope of services to Manhattan Country Club,” said Landscapes Golf Management President Tom Everett. “We look forward to bringing our expertise in member service, programming, food and beverage operations and course conditions to elevate the member experience.”

Midvale Country Club is a private golf and country club located in the rolling hills of Penfield, a few miles east of Rochester, N.Y. First class amenities, including dining, an Olympic-size swimming pool, hard court and paddle tennis and event spaces, are offered in an exclusive, yet family-friendly, setting. Midvale’s Championship 18-hole course is the first designed and built by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., with outstanding practice facilities. The active social and golf calendar provide members with year-round offerings to enjoy the club with family, friends and guests.

“We are very pleased to partner with Midvale Country Club,” added Everett. “The greatest compliment we can receive is a referral from a member of another property in our portfolio, and we look forward to working with the Midvale CC management team and Board of Directors.
