EdCarmodyKoch Agronomic Services, LLC named Edmund Carmody director of sales, turf and ornamental. Under the position, Carmody will be responsible for aligning sales teams and channeling partners to help educate and support continued growth and demand for enhanced efficiency fertilizers.

“Any type of technology, whether it’s equipment, irrigation or in this case, fertilizer technology, needs to be revisited under today’s standards,” said Carmody. “The reality is that we must find new ways of doing the same or more with less.”

Carmody has been working in the specialty fertilizer market since the mid ’90s. He holds a degree in turfgrass management from Michigan State University and a business degree from Walsh College. He has extensive experience as a superintendent and as a technical sales representative for The Scotts Company, Pursell Technologies and Great Salt Lake Minerals, where he sold potassium sulfate to specialty ag and turf markets.
