Jacobsen recognizes top-performing dealers, salespeople during GIS

Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. company, recognized its top-performing dealers and salespeople during the 2016 Golf Industry Show in San Diego, Calif.

G.C Duke, a Canadian dealer with nearly 65 years in the industry, was awarded the North American Dealer of the Year award. Jacobsen’s Global Dealer of the Year award went to MTE Turf Equipment Solutions, a Northeast-based dealer with more than 50 years in the industry. The two top honors are based on a dealer’s sales growth, market penetration and market share.

“The dealer awards ceremony is always a special event for us and our dealer network,” says Troy Murray, director of sales for Jacobsen. “Our dealers work so hard throughout the year and we look forward to recognizing those who have truly gone above and beyond for our customers.”

Individual dealer salesperson awards went to Mark Casey of MTE Turf Equipment Inc., Josh Shull of Turfwerks and Manny Cervantes of Kansas Golf & Turf.

Malvese Equipment Company Inc. was recognized for its 90 years as a Jacobsen Dealer. Others recognized for their years of service as Jacobsen dealers included Steven Willand Inc. for 30 years, Luber Brothers for 20 years, Totem Equipment and Supply Inc. for 15 years and Burris Equipment Co. for 10 years.

Additionally, Jacobsen praised dealers who excelled in marketing and customer care. B. Hayman took home the Customer Care award and TSP Turf took home the Excellence in Marketing award.

Shriro Trading Vietnam Company won the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Dealer of the Year and ADE Turf Equipment took home the Customer Care award. Additionally, Mikuni Shoko Company won the APAC Excellence in Marketing award.

Asia-Pacific dealer salespeople who won individual awards include Ly Trieu Van “Vincent” of Shriro Trading Vietnam Company of Vietnam and Masakazu Tamura of Mikuni Corporation of Japan.
