Jacobsen adds territory sales manager

Jacobsen, a Textron Company, named Chris Makowski to territory sales manager.

Makowski comes to Jacobsen from Toro distributor Grassland Equipment and Irrigation in Rochester, N.Y., where he spent 13 years as a sales representative.

Prior to his tenure at Grassland Equipment, Makowski spent more than a decade as an assistant grounds superintendent at Webster Golf Club near Rochester. Makowski is a SMEI-Certified Professional Salesperson.

As territory sales manager in the Northeast, Makowski is serving Jacobsen dealers and customers in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire.

“As we continue to grow and expand, we are adding industry experts to our team like Chris Makowski,” says Ric Stone, vice president of sales and marketing for Jacobsen. “Chris’ unique background in both turf equipment sales and turf management will help us build new relationships and strengthen existing ones.”
