Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf to open at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club

The Orlando World Center Marriott has teamed up with the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf (JNAG) to open an Academy at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club. Nicklaus Academies are located in 10 countries and boast a successful record of training golfers around the world for over 25-years.

We look forward to helping individual players and groups alike improve their golf games by teaching many of the same proven fundamentals that propelled Mr. Jack Nicklaus to 18 major Championships and the title as the “greatest golfer of all time,” stated Ted Simons, Executive VP / COO for Nicklaus Academies.

With its dynamic curriculum that is developed in conjunction with Mike Malaska; 2011 PGA National Teacher of the Year, each Nicklaus Academy facility and the Nicklaus Academy Certified instruction staff builds on the strengths of each individual student to develop a repeatable swing that not only generates lower scores but also puts “fun” back into this great game.

Brian O’Neill, PGA, has been named the Director of Instruction for the Nicklaus Academy at Hawk’s Landing. O’Neill has worked alongside teaching legends Jim Flick and Mike Malaska gaining knowledge and experience from several of the games finest instructors who have a history of working with Mr. Nicklaus. This experience enables O’Neill to work with golfers from beginners to elite players. O’Neill’s passion for promoting the game of golf, and helping all golfers improve with a simple and effective approach, has proven successful for players of any age and ability level.

The Academy will offer a full menu of ‘personalized’ services from individual instruction packages for Adults, Juniors and Seniors, to Resort and Member Clinics, Family and Couples Clinics, the Jack Nicklaus Driving School and Golden Bear Scoring Clinics, Corporate Clinics, Single and Multi-day Golf Schools, ‘Stay, Learn and Play’ Packages, Custom Club & Ball Fittings, and an Academy Membership Program. The Jack Nicklaus Coaching Studio technologies will include; Swing Catalyst high-speed video capture and analysis, Flightscope Launch Monitors, BodiTrak balance and pressure mats, K-Vest Kinematic Assessment and Training programs, plus an assortment of proven teaching and training aids.
