Intelligro-OrianaPersechiniIntelligro’s Civitas Turf Defense fungicide now is approved and labeled for use in California, the last state to approve the product’s registration. Civitas Turf Defense’s new label also includes “plant protection” as well as “fungicide.”

“The new ‘plant protection’ label language fits perfectly with intelligro’s mission: ‘Smarter growth for a better world,’” says Oriana Persechini, intelligro category portfolio manager. “And the California registration means supers there now can combat drought conditions with a fungicide proven to reduce related water usage up to 25 percent or more.”

Persechini says intelligro relaunched its website, civitasturf.com, in January. Among the many website upgrades are:

  • A plethpora research supporting the company’s Civitas Turf Defense fungicide, Civitas WeedFree Brand Concentrate for lawn and garden, and PureSpray insecticide for crops. Research includes Texas A&M drought and turf traffic studies, and a University of Massachusetts drought study.
  • An enhanced, free IPM Cost Model tool to help supers with product application planning and budgeting, among other tasks.
