Indemnify is proven to control nematodes in turf and to promote overall plant health without causing course disruption, Bayer said. Without the need for course closure or undesirable application methods, Indemnify can be used on both warm and cool season turf in all areas of the golf course.

The active ingredient in Indemnify, fluopyram, offers strong curative and preventative nematode control to help improve root formation. It is effective on Sting, Root Knot, Anguina pacificae, and many other species of nematodes. Indemnify is optimized for flexible application anytime nematodes are active and provides turf managers with a valuable solution for premier nematode management. Indemnify also offers a highly concentrated formulation specifically designed to penetrate the soil profile where nematodes thrive.

For maximum efficacy, two applications in the fall can control nematodes prior to peak golf play during the winter months in Florida. In other regions, spring applications will control nematodes throughout summer play.

“In the past, there really wasn’t a convenient option to cut nematode populations without damaging turf,” said Laurence Mudge, green solutions team manager for the Bayer professional turf & ornamentals business. “That’s changed now. With Indemnify, superintendents are another step closer to season-long playability free from the stressful damage caused by nematodes. It’s that outcome that makes the Bayer mission of Science for a Better Life so important.”

At a rate range of 0.195-0.39 fl oz per 1000 sq ft, each 17.1 oz bottle of Indemnify treats 1-2 acres.
