Golfdom now accepting photos for its 2027 ‘Underdog Calendar’

North Coast Media’s Golfdom magazine is calling all dog owners to submit photos of their pups for its annual “Underdog Calendar,” sponsored by Rain Bird and John Deere.

Everyone loves an underdog, and Golfdom believes all our furry friends deserve a moment in the spotlight, which is why all entries will appear in the calendar.

“The Underdogs of Turf calendar has been a fun project,” said Golfdom Editor-in-Chief Seth Jones. “I’m a dog person, and I love that we have a calendar that accepts every dog submitted — no dogs are left out.

“But the biggest thrill is when I go to a golf course for the first time, and I see they have our calendar hanging up on the bulletin board — that makes me proud of the work my team puts into it.”

Dog photos must be high-quality and taken on a golf course or in a grassy outdoor area. One dog will be chosen for a professional photo shoot and appear on the cover. Submissions are open until Sept. 15, 2026. We encourage you to go out on the course with your canine caddy and submit photos using this link.
