Application window opens for Green Start Academy 2026

Green Start Academy (GSA) announced the opening of its application window from now until August 1, welcoming aspiring assistant superintendents to apply for its leadership and professional development program. Returning to Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina for its sixth year, GSA will once again partner with industry leaders John Deere and Envu

This year’s GSA program will take place December 8-11, 2026, at Pinehurst Resort and will once again bring together some of the most promising assistant superintendents from across North America for an immersive educational and networking experience. Attendees will participate in mentor-led presentations, panel discussions and collaborative learning sessions designed to encourage the exchange of industry best practices and support long-term professional development. 

“Green Start Academy continues to create meaningful opportunities for the current generation of assistant superintendents by fostering growth both personally and professionally,” said Kim Ehasz, global manager of market development and strategy at John Deere. “We are proud to continue our support of this impactful program that helps emerging leaders build valuable industry connections, learn from experienced mentors and prepare for the next stage of their careers.”

Through collaborative experiences and focused leadership development, Green Start Academy continues to help prepare assistant superintendents for long-term success within the golf course management industry. This year’s program is currently accepting applications through ​​Aug. 1.
