Crane Creek Golf Course in Kilbourne, Illinois, was designed by Sam Smith/Ronnie Rogers and opened in 1999. Dennis Dwyer manages the 18-hole course as the general manager and Jack Curless is the superintendent.

The 7,390-yard, par-72 course features bentgrass fairways.

Green Golf Partners, a golf course management and development company, announced in a news release on Nov. 16 it has signed an agreement to manage Crane Creek Golf Course.

“We are delighted to add the picturesque Crane Creek Golf Course to our roster of first-rate private and public golf courses in several states throughout the Midwest and Southeast parts of the country,” says Matt McIntee, CEO of GGP. “We’re planning a number of exciting upgrades to the course in time for play in spring 2016, when Crane Creek will be in full bloom.”

GGP says its expertise includes a wide range of golf course management, including course maintenance, marketing skills and business acumen.

Membership packages for 2016 are now being sold on the course’s website and Facebook page.

GGP says in the news release it plans to offer reciprocal arrangements with other courses in its national portfolio, which includes courses in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Florida.
