Course of the week: Okeeheelee Golf Course
Offering 27 holes of championship golf in a park setting, Okeeheelee Golf Course has offered quality golf to Palm Beach County for more than 20 years.
With its beautiful vistas of Clear Lake, the facility is aptly named Okeeheelee, or “Quiet Waters” in the Seminole Indian language. Proud to participate in the Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary Program (ACSP), Okeeheelee is committed to environmental stewardship.
Tee off on 27 holes of championship golf that equates to three nine-hole courses that may be played in three 18-hole combinations. Additionally, it provides extensive practice facilities, including a double-ended driving range, a 30,000 square-foot putting green, a chipping green and a practice bunker. Every hole features five sets of tees, so all skill levels will feel comfortable playing at Okeeheelee.
Okeeheelee Golf Course is managed by Superintendent Jeffrey St. Louis and General Manager Mac Hood.
