Control Solutions adds Northeastern area Quali-Pro rep

Control Solutions Inc. (CSI) named Paul Blodorn the Northeastern area representative for its Quali-Pro brand.

Blodorn brings more than 20 years of experience in the golf industry and spent 15 years of his career as the superintendent of the East Hampton (N.Y.) Golf Club. Shortly after receiving a bachelor’s degree in plant and soils science, he was offered the head superintendents position at the newly constructed East Hampton Golf Club. He spent the next 15 years at the Coore & Crenshaw course, which made Golf Digest‘s Top 30 Courses in New York State. During this time he also received certification status from the Golf Course Superintendents Association (GCSAA).

Blodorn also volunteered at many tournaments, including the 1995 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. During his career he worked at several top courses on the east coast including Southampton Golf Club, Wilmington CC and The Rockaway Hunting Club.

He developed many relationships with distributors and fellow superintendents as a member of the Long Island Golf GCSA as well as the GCSAA. Along with his golf course background, Blodorn founded and operated a full-service landscape business in the Hamptons for seven years.
