California golf course superintendents now have access to Nufarm’s Anuew Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) for managing bermudagrass and kikuyugrass turf.

Recently, the California Environmental Protection Agency approved Anuew PGR for use on bermudagrass cultivars on fairways and roughs, including Tifway (bermudagrass 419), Tifsport, Tifeagle, Tifgreen (bermudagrass 328), Champion, MiniVerde and Riviera turfgrass, as well as on kikuyugrass.

Nufarm released Anuew in 2015. In 2016 the company received EPA permission for label updates to add new recommendations for applications and more.

“As a former golf course superintendent, I know superintendents value having the right tools in the market available to them, and Anuew PGR is an excellent tool for superintendents looking to keep their course tournament ready and looking its best for members day in and day out,” said Jeff Eldridge, golf segment lead for Nufarm.

Eldrige recently joined Nufarm as golf segment lead after several years as a superintendent and a region manager for SePRO.
