Position: Head Superintendent
Location: St. Charles, Missouri
Description: Bogey Hills Country Club located in St. Charles, MO is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Head Superintendent. Qualified candidates will thrive in a private club environment and be highly focused on providing a superior golf course for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Club President and General Manager and oversee all aspects of an 18 hole private golf course.
  • Training, hiring, and daily staff setup, ordering of required supplies, coding invoices, payroll, and safety meetings.
  • Develops budgeting and capital plans. Manages expenses within the department in accordance with property directive.
  • Providing the club with an exceptional golf course with attention to detail and proper course setup.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Agronomy preferred.
  • Member of the GCSAA and preferably a Certified GCSAA Superintendent.
  • Must have all relevant licenses in Missouri, or obtain them within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 7 years of golf course experience, preferably with private club experience, including 3 years as an Assistant Superintendent.
  • Transition Zone Turf and Grass experience required. Must understand St. Louis-Midwest climate and be able to perform under extreme weather conditions.

Compensation:

  • $80,000-$90,000 per year including benefits.
  • Salary will be based on experience and education.
