BioSafe’s AXXE herbicide now available for use in Canada

BioSafe Systems‘ AXXE herbicide is now available for use across Canada.

AXXE is an organic labeling-compliant, non-selective herbicide that provides rapid burn down to a variety of grasses and weeds, as well as moss, liverwort and algae, within hours of application. The non-residual chemistry breaks down within a few days and provides more than four weeks of broad-spectrum control.

AXXE is a soap product featuring ammonium salt of fatty acid that penetrates the cell walls of plants, which eliminates unwanted vegetation quickly by disrupting plant tissue through cell wall penetration. The result is a cease of plant growth and brown necrosis, the company said. This herbicide is formulated to biodegrade quickly and leave no harmful residue behind.

For preemergent application, AXXE can be used prior to seed germination or emergence of perennial plants, tubers and bulbs.
