Wow! I almost can’t believe it, but tomorrow (Tuesday) I’m knocking another Sports Bucket List item off my list…

And the craziest part of it? I thought one day I’d catch a World Series game… but I never thought I’d do it at Kauffman Stadium!

So look for me in the right field on Tuesday night… and don’t expect me to be taking any meetings that day! (Unless you’re at Kansas City Power & Light mid-day, and then, yeah, we can meet over beers!)

I really am stunned to be going to a World Series game this week. I hope I don’t get hit by a bus before the game. With such a momentous occasion on the horizon, it got me thinking of my sports bucket list in general. Here is what I’ve got cooking so far:

  1. Final Four (2003)
  2. The Masters (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014)
  3. U.S. Open (2007, 2011, 2013, 2014)
  4. The Open Championship
  5. World Series (2014)
  6. NBA Finals
  7. Super Bowl

I’ll try my best to shoot out an occasional tweet/blog post that day, but mostly… I’m going to enjoy my first ever World Series.

And GO ROYALS!!!
