Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, has secured EPA registration of its Signature Xtra Stressgard fungicide.

A new addition to its Stressgard Formulation Technology family, Signature Xtra Stressgard formulation provides application flexibility and consistent plant health benefits, according to the company.

“At Bayer, we understand the challenge that superintendents face in maintaining pristine turfgrass, especially on greens, throughout the playing season,” says Mike Hirvela, fungicide product manager for the professional Bayer T&O. “That’s why we’ve leveraged the latest plant health technology to create Signature Xtra Stressgard, a solution that allows superintendents to unlock the maximum potential of their turf and gives them the ultimate reliability and peace of mind they’ve come to expect from Bayer solutions.”

Bayer says Signature Xtra Stressgard, to be launched this fall, is designed to acheive turf health and disease control on greens, with protection from biotic and abiotic stresses, improved aerification recovery, winter recovery and early spring green-up.
