Anuvia adds Chuck Barber, Josh Long to team

Anuvia Plant Nutrients, an environmentally sustainable plant nutrient company, added Chuck Barber and Josh Long to its team.

“Over this last year, Anuvia began building its foundation in both turf and agricultural markets,” said Anuvia CEO Amy Yoder. “As we continue to grow, our commitment to service the markets with high level professionals is paramount. We are pleased to have Chuck Barber joining us as vice president, customer accounts specialty markets, and Josh Long as southeast sales manager agricultural markets.”

Barber will work with Anuvia’s customer accounts in the turf markets, bringing his extensive background in business development, strategic planning and relationship building. Prior to joining Anuvia, Barber was president of Global Sales for Eco Agro Resources, Sarasota, Fla., where he managed the sales team and introduced fertilizer additives in the agricultural and horticultural global markets.

Barber also has worked for Koch Agronomic Services as national accounts sales manager developing new fertilizer business and managing existing accounts, and for Agrotain International as accounts sales manager in Eastern U.S. and Canada. He has also worked for Griffin Industries, The Scotts Company and Bay Hills Golf Club.

Josh Long

Josh Long will manage agricultural sales in the Southeast U.S., including the Delta states and Texas. A native of Arkansas, Long most recently worked for Koch Agronomic Services as regional manager where he managed accounts in Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri. He has also worked for the University of Arkansas Soil Test Lab as an operation supervisor and program technician; for the University of Arkansas Lonn Mann Cotton Research Station as a program technician; and for the University of Arkansas Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service as a program technician. He received his BS in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas.
