Golfdom now accepting photos for its 2027 ‘Underdog Calendar’

North Coast Media’s Golfdom magazine is calling all dog owners to submit photos of their pups for its annual “Underdog Calendar,” sponsored by Rain Bird and John Deere.

Submit a photo of your canine caddy on the golf course or a grassy outdoor area and we’ll add your pup to the pack! 🐕🗓️ Deadline for entry is September 15, 2026.

One dog will be chosen for a professional photo shoot and appear on the cover!

Everyone loves an underdog, and Golfdom believes all our furry friends deserve a moment in the spotlight, which is why all entries will appear in the calendar.

📸 Tips for taking the perfect photo of your dog for the Underdog Calendar:

✓ Use fairway or other natural background, avoid including buildings.
✓ Make sure your pup is well-lit and in focus, not blurry or too shadowy.
✓ Take and submit multiple photos – the more options the better!
✓ To ensure printing quality, image size should be at least 3″x5″ and the highest resolution possible (select “Actual Size” in iPhone settings, or “300 dpi” on other devices).The 2027 Underdogs of Turf Calendar is published with thanks to our sponsors Rain Bird and John Deere.
