What is it, hourly or salary?

Screen Shot 2016-08-17 at 4.30.06 PMSo, what is it? Hourly or salary?

Seriously. What is it, because even we needed a little help even after writing our cover story, Pay up or go home, on the Department of Labor’s new rule that begins Dec. 1.

In Editor-in-Chief Seth Jones’ column and in the cover story we stated hourly employees making less than $47,476 would be entitled to time-and-a-half overtime pay, when we should have said salaried. Technically, hourly employees are already entitled to this pay.

We apologize for any confusion — It has been fixed on our website and in the digital edition. And thanks to Brian Bossert, CGCS at Bryn Mawr Country Club, Lincolnwood, Ill., for pointing out our mistake.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Sincerely,

The Golfdom team
