Wesco Turf / Hector Turf to participate in Toro’s 2024 Parts for Opportunities Drive
Wesco Turf / Hector Turf, a Toro distributor, is helping provide educational opportunities to the families of fallen and disabled service members in the community by taking part in the Toro Parts for Opportunities Drive.
“It is genuinely an honor for us to partner with Wesco Turf / Hector Turf in support of Folds of Honor,” said Josh Tubbs, senior golf marketing manager for Toro. “This organization graciously ensures that military families who have sacrificed so much have access to the education and opportunities they deserve. We’re proud to help support their mission with the Toro Parts for Opportunities Drive.”
Ten percent of all eligible Toro parts sales made between May 28 and June 4 are donated to local Folds of Honor scholarship applicants. Folds of Honor is a nonprofit that provides K–12 grade or higher education scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.
“Last year, through sales of qualifying commercial equipment parts and irrigation parts, Toro and Toro distributorships raised a total of $161,700, which equated to 32 scholarships,” said Billy Gamble, president of Wesco Turf / Hector Turf. “Our efforts made a significant impact with families of fallen and disabled service members, and we are honored to join forces again with Toro to provide academic opportunities to deserving families in our community.”
Wesco Turf / Hector Turf will support the local Southwest Florida Folds of Honor chapter. During this promotion, Wesco Turf / Hector Turf customers who participate in the Toro Parts for Opportunities Drive will receive a chance to win 1 of 8 Toro-branded Yeti beverage buckets.
