Turf Materials becomes exclusive distributor of Comand in 15 states

Turf Materials, a supplier of sands and aggregates for the golf industry across the Southwest, recently became the exclusive distributor of Comand in 15 states, including New Mexico, Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama.

Comand is a specialty soil amendment produced with proprietary blends of enzyme-producing microbes, unique composting methodology and techniques for maximizing beneficial microorganisms in the finished product.

“We are excited to partner with LifeSoils and the Comand team to bring their proprietary product to new markets,” Doug Meador, managing member of Turf Materials, said. “Comand is a renewable, natural product specifically designed for turf grass applications and will provide customers with greater options to meet their turf management needs.”

Comand can be utilized straight to amend and improve existing soils or can be custom blended with varying amounts of high-quality sand to create topdressings and rootzone mixes.
