Troon, a club management, development and marketing company, will now manage three Southern California golf courses owned by Sanyo Foods. The courses include Yorba Linda Country Club in Yorba Linda, Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach and Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin.

“Troon’s proven track record of providing lifestyle excellence and operational effectiveness, along with the company’s focus on member and guest satisfaction, are ultimately what led us to select Troon to manage our three clubs,” said General Manager of Sanyo Foods Nobu Taira. “Partnering with Troon will ensure our investments are protected.”

Yorba Linda Country Club is set in the rolling hills of North Orange County and the club’s Harold Rainville-designed course opened for play in 1957. The course plays to a par of 71 and measures 6,834 yards. Trees hug the bermudagrass fairways, and the course features elevated greens coupled with well-placed bunkers. The golf practice facility includes a practice range, a large putting green and a short-game practice area.

Tustin Ranch Golf Club features a signature Ted Robinson-designed golf course. The 6,842-yard, par-72, 160-acre course is the centerpiece of the Tustin Ranch community. Since opening for daily-fee play in 1989, the course has remained an Orange County favorite among locals and visitors alike and readers of the Orange County Register have voted it the best “Orange County Golf Course and Driving Range” for multiple years, including 2015, 2012, 2010, 2009 and 2007.

The Lomas Santa Fe Country Club features a William Bell-designed par 72 layout with ocean views and wide fairways. The course has been voted one of the “Top Short Courses,” by Golf Range Magazine for the past two years.

“We are thrilled to be working with Sanyo Foods and with three well-regarded facilities,” said Troon Senior Vice President of Operations Jim Richerson, PGA. “Our agronomy teams are eager to improve conditions at each course, while our operations teams will immediately seek to elevate service standards and the member/guest experiences.”

Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon, will oversee operations of Yorba Linda Country Club and Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, while Troon Golf, the resort and daily-fee club operations division of Troon, will manage all operations at Tustin Ranch Golf Club.
