The Andersons Turf & Specialty Group announces expanded distribution with Tri Turf Soils, Inc. and Turf Ventures

The Turf & Specialty Group at The Andersons, Inc. announced that its Professional Business Unit has expanded distribution with Michigan-based Tri Turf Soils, Inc. and Turf Ventures, headquartered in Addison, Ill.

According to an Andersons release, Tri Turf Soils, Inc., which serves the lower peninsula of Michigan and the eastern half of the upper peninsula of Michigan, became a full line distributor for the Andersons last month.

“Tri Turf has a strong presence in Michigan and an excellent sales force,” said Bob Eichenberg, Director of
Professional Sales for The Andersons. “We are looking forward to expanding our relationship with Tri Turf to provide even better service for our existing customers and earn business with new customers.”

Also, according to The Andersons, “Turf Ventures has designated The Andersons as its primary supplier of premium fertilizer, combination, and control products for the golf and lawn care markets and has
become a full line distributor of The Andersons products in all of its locations.”

The expansion now includes The Hill Company, which has offices in Erlanger, Ky. and
Indianapolis, Ind., and serves Kentucky, Central Indiana, and Southwestern Ohio, as well as B&C Turf, LLC located in Warsaw, Ind., which serves Northern Indiana and Southwestern
Michigan.

customer service,” said Brian Baker, President, Turf Ventures. “Our customers will benefit from this expanded relationship.”
