SipcamRotam selects new vp of specialty business

SipcamRotam has named Michael Maravich as its new vice president of specialty business, where he will oversee the specialty business comprised by turf, ornamental and material preservation business segments.

Adam Burnhams, general manager of SipcamRotam, says, “I am delighted to have Michael join the leadership team; he is a great fit for the company and will bring the right combination of experience, enthusiasm and entrepreneurship.”

Maravich brings years of turf and ornamental sales and marketing experience to the position, most recently serving as director of strategic sourcing and category management for Primera Inc.

Maravich is a graduate of the turfgrass management program at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He will be based out of La Quinta, Calif.

Maravich takes over the role previously held by George Furrer, who was recently named chief executive officer of United Turf Alliance.
