Sipcam Agro USA promoted Sam Wineinger to director of marketing for all business units. It also promoted Todd Mason, former manager of the company’s southeast territory, to director of sales and development within the turf and ornamental division of the company.

In his new role, Wineinger will be responsible for pricing, programming, branding and communications for the specialty, agriculture and material preservation businesses.

Wineinger has been with the company for three years, with previous responsibilities including account sales, formulator sales and most recently marketing manager for the turf and ornamental division of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in plant science with a focus in turf from University of Missouri-Columbia.

“With our renewed strategy in the specialty and agricultural markets, we are excited to maximize our internal talent resources and accelerate our business plan,” said Michael Maravich, vice president sales and marketing, North America, Sipcam Agro USA. “Sam exemplifies the work ethic and values we at Sipcam find necessary. Most importantly, he understands that service begins with energetic, trusted, ethical people who thrive on an entrepreneurial approach when providing value to our customers.”

Mason, in his new role, will be responsible for daily customer sales, management of the account manager team and the design and implementation of national field research studies.

Mason has been with the company for one year. Prior to his promotion, he managed the southeast territory, key accounts and product development in the southern region. He holds an associate degree in ornamental horticulture.

“With our recent product expansion in our specialty business, we are thrilled to have Todd accept this role,” Maravich said. “His ability to organize, manage and deliver sales results through team structure is exactly what is needed to help our customers achieve the highest level.”
