SePRO introduces StriCore herbicide for pre-emergent weed control

SePRO introduced StriCore herbicide, its new solution for pre-emergent weed control, at the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Conference and Trade Show.

This new tool helps to combat resistance in goosegrass, crabgrass and Poa annua. According to the company, StriCore is gentle on both warm- and cool-season turf types. StriCore does not prune roots, so it won’t compromise the plant’s root system.

“Our customers are always on the lookout for innovative and reliable weed control options and SePRO is excited to introduce a novel solution to the market,” Casey Zeller, SePRO turf and ornamental portfolio leader, said. “StriCore is not only unique but directly addresses the challenges customers face with goosegrass and weed resistance.”

StriCore herbicide is expected to be available for purchase beginning in October 2024.
