Seed Research of Oregon names new business development manager

Seed Research of Oregon has named Michael Billman as its new business development manager effective May 9.

Billman has worked in the seed industry for more than twenty years with a knowledge of turf, forage, native grasses and wildflowers. He has previously held positions in sales and sales management, operations, production, and most recently, general management. In this new position Billman will work with both new and existing customers domestically while assisting current management in key areas of customer service, sales, production and forecasting, according to a press release.

He lives in Monmouth, Ore., with his wife and three children and will operate out of the Seed Research of Oregon corporate office in Tangent, Ore.

“We are excited to have Mike join us,” says Bill Dunn, executive vice president of seed research. “The breadth of his experience coupled with his passion for the seed business makes Mike a great addition to the Seed Research of Oregon team.”
