Sea Pines Resort unveils new clubhouse

The Sea Pines Resort has opened a new clubhouse that will serve the Harbour Town Golf Links.

The 26,000-square-foot multi-use building overlooks the Pete Dye designed course and will host resort guests, members and touring professionals during the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage April 13-19. The highlight of the facility is a gallery showcasing the tournament’s history and previous champions like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Davis Love III.

Other features of the clubhouse include a living room lounge; Links, the facility’s American grill with views of the course; a pro shop; a 4,000-square-foot locker room; and a 2,200-square-foot banquet and event room.

“The new Harbour Town Clubhouse combines the absolute best of architectural design, superior craftsmanship and functionality,” says Steve Birdwell, president of The Sea Pines Resort. “Every inch of the new building is intended to provide our members, guests and visiting golf pros a level of comfort and enjoyment they’ll long savor.”
