Reinders, Inc. employee is Toro’s Master Salesperson of the Year

Derek Kastenschmidt of Reinders, Inc. is the most recent recipient of Toro’s highest award—the Master Salesperson of the Year. The annual honor, recognizing one who has demonstrated sales and service excellence, acknowledges Kastenschmidt’s accomplishments in customer-focused sales and service programs in the turf equipment market.

To be eligible for the award, recipients must be active in industry organizations and leaders in their markets. According to Reinders’ Commercial Equipment Sales Manager John C. Jensen, CSE, the award’s recipients also are required to have won the Green Jacket Award for high performance in sales and customer service, as Kastenschmidt did in 2002.

Toro’s Master Salesperson of the Year award is based on the total sales in a market and customer satisfaction. Kastenschmidt, who sells Toro commercial equipment to schools, golf courses and municipalities in South Central Wisconsin, has earned the praise of his customers, who Jensen said are dubbed Kastenschmidt’s “raving fans.”

“The customers really like Derek,” Jensen said. “They’ve been loyal to him for a long time. He balances work and family well and has customer loyalty and a willingness to mentor other salespeople.”
