Regional Drive, Chip & Putt competitions kick off

Following months of local and subregional qualifying, the final phase of Drive, Chip and Putt qualifying started last weekend. Beginning Sept. 3 and continuing through Oct. 1, 10 golf venues will host regional qualifiers as participants play to earn their spot in the 2018 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta (Ga.) National Golf Club on April 1, 2018.

The full schedule of regional qualifiers is below. Fans and supporters of Drive, Chip and Putt are encouraged to follow along as player and parent stories are featured with articles, photo galleries and social posts from each regional qualifier on both social media and DriveChipandPutt.com. Players, parents and fans are encouraged to share their stories during regional qualifying using #DriveChipandPutt or tagging the relevant Drive, Chip and Putt social handles.

The Drive, Chip and Putt Championship aims to help younger generations begin their lifelong connection with golf by providing a fun and accessible platform for participants of all skill levels. This free youth golf development initiative welcomes boys and girls ages 7-15 to participate in separate divisions in four age categories and focuses on golf’s three fundamental skills.
