Precision Laboratories hires specialized chemistries manager

Precision Laboratories has appointed CJ Nash technical manager for specialized chemistries, a newly created position. She will oversee product development, laboratory operations, and certification as well as sales team orientation for new products.

“We welcome CJ and are excited to have her as part of our team,” said Rick Wohlner, president of Precision Laboratories. “Her accomplishments demonstrate tremendous initiative, leadership, and problem solving ability; the perfect mix to define and excel in a new role here at Precision Laboratories.”

Nash previously served as a senior technologist at DOW Chemical, where she developed new test methods, formulated and analyzed new products and coordinated research between international research facilities. She also was recognized multiple times for her efforts to improve safety procedures.

Before that, she was with the U.S. Army, where she took on numerous leadership, communication and technical roles, specializing in response to nuclear, biological and chemical warfare. Her specialties also included training program development, intelligence interpretation and downwind hazard prediction.

Nash holds a master’s degree in chemistry from Loyola University in Chicago, Ill. and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
