PoaCure herbicide gains registration in California
PoaCure, a herbicide for golf courses from Moghu USA and Moghu USA Research Center, has been granted registration for use in California.
With the active ingredient Methiozolin, PoaCure is labeled for use on creeping bentgrass putting greens and fairways and other turf areas consisting of various cool and warm season turfgrasses. The herbicide also provides pre-emergence control of crabgrass, goosegrass, and certain broadleaf weeds such as common speedwell, Persian speedwell, common chickweed, big chickweed and hairy bittercress.
As of Aug. 7, 48 states, including Washington D.C., have granted state registration for PoaCure. PoaCure will be available for sale in California in October. Moghu will announce its list of California distributors in September.
