North Carolina golf course worker dies in accident

Golf course worker Jose Morales died after the maintenance equipment he was driving went into the water on the morning of Nov. 28 at Tiger’s Eye golf course in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.

Officials say Morales was found by the 5th hole and was pulled from the water by two other employees but were not able to resuscitate him. Initial reports from the medical examiner indicate Morales’ death was due to drowning and Brunswick County Police do not believe the incident is suspicious.
