PGA Frisco recently hosted the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship on May 25-28 on its Fields Ranch East course. Architect Gil Hanse designed the East course and Heritage Links created it.

“We’re as curious as anyone else to see exactly how the Fields Ranch East course holds up under competitive scrutiny,” Roger Meier, senior director of golf maintenance operations for the PGA of America, said. “But I’m betting it will tick all the boxes and only improve with time. For that, I tip my cap to Gil and the folks at Heritage Links.”

The PGA of America holds a long-term contract as the on-site course operator and tournament host, as the new facility also serves as the PGA of America’s home base after the organization recently moved its national headquarters.

The course will also host the KPMG Women’s PGA in 2025 and the PGA Championship in 2027. That sequence of tournaments will repeat starting in 2029.
