Lynda Wightman to receive ASIC’s Ivy Munion Women in Irrigation Award

The American Society of Irrigation Consultant (ASIC) recently selected Lynda Wightman, a Hunter Industries retiree, as the recipient of the Ivy Munion Langendorff Women in Irrigation Award. The award is given in recognition of women who positively impacted and made a difference in the irrigation industry.

Wightman previously worked for Hunter Industries for 35 years and served on a number of boards and committees.

In addition to the Ivy Munion Langendorff Women in Irrigation Award, Linda has previously received ASIC’s Sam Tobey Lifetime Achievement Award, STMA’s Harry C. Gill Founders Award and was inducted into the Green Industry Hall of Fame.
